Bob & Cheryl buy a Lake House.

Back to the kitchen; I replaced the single window facing the rear of the house because the old one was beat up and didn't stay open on it's own. I also had to build a little header box where the microwave oven / vent hood will exhaust through the outside wall.

The plumbing is in place for the kitchen sink and dish washer. Sorry, no garbage disposal allowed with the LPD septic system.



And the kitchen is ready for insulation and sheetrock.



We'll need a coat closet by the front door.



The sheetrock on the ceiling has to be cut out for the header.



Then the upper header gets secured to the ceiling beams.



I assembled the two walls on the floor so I could nail through the headers into the studs, then stood them up in place.

I'll be installing a pair of bypassing sliding doors here.
